TDIC showcases Saadiyat Beach Apartments at Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2010
Abu Dhabi, April 20, 2010 (WAM)- Tourism Development '&' Investment Company (TDIC), the master developer of cultural, residential and tourism destinations in Abu Dhabi, today unveiled the full plans and designs for the Saadiyat Beach Apartments, with all 495 phase one apartments due to open for leasing in Q2 2011, and for completion by Q4 2011.
The Saadiyat Beach Apartments neighbourhoods will provide modern and dynamic living spaces in private gated communities, from simple studios to multiple bedroom apartments. The apartments are minutes away from the world class attractions of the Cultural District, and close to the facilities of the vibrant Saadiyat Beach Marina Village, due to open in Q4 2012 and set to become the premier residential, shopping and entertainment destination in the Saadiyat Beach district.
The nearby Saadiyat Beach Marina Village will provide community services and entertainment choices for the families and young professionals living in these apartments. The village also benefits from a medical centre, grocery store, community centre and nursery, in addition to a busy cosmopolitan shopping scene with a central plaza, exclusive marina for up to 150 boats, and a range of restaurants and cafes including a top-end yacht club.
Saadiyat Beach lies on the north shore of Saadiyat Island, and 10,000 residents are expected to live in the area when it reaches completion in 2014. Primary access will be provided via arterial road to Sheikh Khalifa Highway linking Saadiyat Beach to the mainland and airport within 15 minutes.
There will be 14 Saadiyat Beach Apartment buildings spread over 3 neighbourhoods plots ranging in specifications between premium, mid range and standard. A total of 963 apartments will be built. The first phase of the apartments, comprising of 6 buildings; three standard with a total 285 apartments and three mid-range with a total of 210 apartments, are due for completion in Q4 2011. Soletanche Bachy has been appointed to carry out piling and excavation work as the early works contractor. This will be completed by Q2 2010.
