UAE Armed Forces team to climb Island Peak

Abu Dhabi, April 21, 2010 (WAM) - The first military mission of UAE Armed Forces has arrived in Nepal to climb Imja Tse, better known as Island Peak in the Himalayas. The head of the mission said that main objective of the mission is to raise the flag of the UAE at the top of the Himalayas, develop team spirit and work, gain experience, learn new skills, have patience and develop leadership qualities among mission members. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
