UAE Foreign Minister holds talks with Greek PM
Athens - April 29, 2010 (WAM)- Visiting UAE Foreign minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan held yesterday talks at the Greek Parliament premises with Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou over ways of boosting relations of cooperation and friendship.
Mechanisms for further developing joint economic and trade relations and encouraging investment and industrial ventures were also discussed during the meeting.
Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the UAE's sincere desire to push bilateral relations to new horizons for meeting aspirations of the two countries in areas of tourism, culture and investment.
The Greek premier said his country lends special attention to its bonds with the UAE, which he said it has become a prominent world commercial and financial hub and a gateway for global firms to launch operations in the region.
