UAE pavilion at Shanghai Expo 2010 draws huge turnout for the fifth day
Shanghai - May 6, 2010 (WAM)- The UAE pavilion at Shanghai Expo 2010 has drawn huge number of visitors for the fifth day in a row. The UAE stand showcases the UAE national attire, the UAE documentary films produced by National Media Council on the developmental process of the UAE over the last six decades during which the country became one of the most rapid developing countries. It also presents a model of daily Emirati family life.
In related development, the Chinese and world media covered the sessions of the UAE stand at Shanghai Expo 2010. They held interviews with the UAE officials at the pavilion to give viewers knowledge about the progress being witnessed by the UAE.
The Chinese press and websites said the design of the UAE pavilion is beautiful and reflects the boom in economic, cultural, social and tourism fields, citing the documentary films shown by the UAE stand.
The press focused on dream journey film, which reflects the landmarks of UAE, entertainment and the success story of the UAE. They were also impressed about the UAE folklore troupes.
Arab students in China, who visited the UAE stand, said the achievements attained by the UAE were source of pride to the Arab countries and peoples.
Emirates News Agency (WAM) interviewed many people who expressed their admiration of the UAE pavilion. Cheng Yu Lee, a Chinese businessman, said the UAE has succeeded to reflect the true image of the current progress on the ground, attributing this success to the UAE leadership and government. He added that he saw many visitors queuing to enter into the UAE pavilion, noting that this attracted him to enter to view the films on the development being witnessed by the UAE.
Lee indicated that the image of the UAE stand prompted him to think about investing in the UAE alongside a number of the Chinese Companies doing business there.
