Sheikha Mira welcomes visitors to Expo Shanghai in Chinese
Shanghai - May 6, 2010 (WAM)- The visitors to the UAE Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010 were thrilled to see the image of Sheikha Mira Bint Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcoming them in Chinese language.
The young daughter of Sheikh Hazza appeared in a documentary movie produced by the National Media Council on the occasion of the UAE's participation in the Expo Shanghai 2010. The film is being shown both inside and outside the pavilion.
The sight of Sheikha Mira wearing an Emirati traditional costume and speaking in crystal Chinese surprised the audience, who later said that this is a clear evidence of the care and attention the UAE gives to innovative and creative talents.
Visitors praised Sheikha Mira Bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who in this young age could speak in Chinese, a language which demands a good amount of determination and patience to learn it as a second language. This is especially true when considering that spoken Chinese is highly tonal and analytic.
