Polish official visits UAE pavilion at Shanghai Expo 2010

Shanghai - May 9, 2010 (WAM)- Bernard Blaszczyk Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of the Environment in Poland, toured today the UAE pavilion at Expo 2010. He was accompanied during the tour by Deputy Director of National Media Council, General Commissioner of the UAE pavilion at Shanghai Expo and Abdullah Al Aidarous, deputy commissioner and a number of officials.
The Polish official was briefed on the multimedia shows. He watched a film on the prosperity the UAE prosperity. He toured the stand of the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) at the UAE pavilion. The company is building the first city free from carbon emissions, which will depend entirely on renewable energy.
The Polish official commended the UAE efforts for protecting environment and natural resources to realise sustainable development. He stressed the Polish companies were looking forward to investing in the renewable energy projects and industry, calling on bolstering cooperation and coordination between the two countries through boosting ties between businesspersons in both countries.
Al A'meri presented a photo book on the UAE achievements to the Polish official.
