The UAE Pavilion at Shanghai Expo 2010 continues drawing thousands of visitors

Shanghai - May 9, 2010 (WAM)- The UAE Pavilion at Shanghai Expo 2010 continues thrilling and wooing thousands of admirers from different countries worldwide daily.
Emirates News Agency (WAM) interviewed a number of visitors, notably, HE Firgilo Sosa, general commissioner of Panama Pavilion, who expressed his admiration about the UAE pavilion. He said it showcases history and current urban landmarks of the UAE. The Panamanian official was received at the UAE pavilion by Deputy Director General of National Media Council, General Commissioner of UAE Pavilion HE Salem Saeed Al A'meri and a number of officials at the pavilion.
Tenj Kong, from Shanghai, said the UAE pavilion far excels other pavilions at Shanghai Expo 2010. He told WAM that he knows about the UAE, but what he has seen at the UAE pavilion was so amazing as the country is aggressively progressing in all fields.
Jolie who has a brother working in the UAE, said she was looking forward to visiting the UAE after what she had seen at the UAE pavilion.
Wan Lee, a Chinese, expressed her admiration about the films on the UAE. She observed that the UAE has attained progress in the sectors of education, economy, communications and entertainment.
Sarah Al Awadhi, Bahraini, who is studying Medicine in one of Chinese Universities, said the UAE always looks forward to excellence, adding that its pavilion highlights tourism, economic and environmental landmarks of the UAE. She added that the pavilion would woo more tourists to the UAE. Malek Jamal, Jordanian student in China, said the UAE pavilion mixes urbanism with heritage. The folklore troupes have been continuing their performances, which draw more visitors.
