Saudi Prince praises UAE Pavilion at Shanghai Expo 2010
Shanghai - May 13, 2010 (WAM)- Saudi Prince said the UAE Pavilion at Shanghai Expo has reflected the typical and true image of the progress being witnessed by the country.
Prince Saud bin Thenayan Al-Saud, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, and Chairman of the SABIC Board of Directors, noted that the UAE pavilion is distinctively innovative in design and looks like sand dune, adding that the multimedia materials in the pavilion portray the UAE achievements and success story.
He indicated that Shanghai Expo 2010 is the biggest expo of its kind. It is expected to draw over 70 million visitors.
Prince Saud was received at the arrival by Salem Al A'meri, Deputy Director of National Media Council, Commissioner General of the UAE Pavilion. Al A'meri briefed the Saudi official on the multimedia materials. Prince Saud told Emirates News Agency (WAM) in a statement that the UAE has managed to show its success story regarding sustainable development. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
