National Media Council, NCMS discuss avenues of joint cooperation

Abu Dhabi, May 19, 2010 (WAM)- Director General of the National Media Council (NMC) and Director General of Emirates News Agency (WAM) Ibrahim Al Abed received yesterday Abdullah Al Mandous, Director General of the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS). The meeting, which was attended by Ali Amer Al Mashjari, acting Executive Director for WAM and External Information, and Jamal Al Swuaider, Editor in Chief of WAM, explored mechanisms for joint cooperation regarding transmission of the NCMS's news and weather forecast. The two sides agreed to post the NCMS's website on WAM's website as part of a plan for spreading information on latest weather conditions. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
