Abdullah bin Zayed meets Iranian FM in Dushanbe, congratulates him on nuclear deal

Dushanbe - May 19, 2010 (WAM)- UAE Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met yesterday, at the sideline of meetings of the foreign ministers of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki. The OIC meetings started today in the Takik capital Dushanbe. During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah congratulated the Iranian minister on the deal struck yesterday on Iran's nuclear programme under the auspices of Brazil and Turkey.
Meanwhile, the UAE foreign minister met separately with foreign ministers Marat Tazhin of Kazakhstan, Elmar Mammadyarov of Azerbaijan, and Dipu Moni of Bangladesh. The meetings discussed relations between the UAE and the three countries and issues on the agenda of the OIC meetings.
