UAE-Korean Business council launched
Seoul - H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and South Korean Prime Minister Chung Un-chan last Thursday attended a ceremony held to launch the UAE-Korean Business council.
Sheikh Mohammed said the business council will play a significant role in boosting cooperation between the two countries.
Un-Chin expressed the hope that the council will complement the strategic cooperation which was started by the governments of the two countries and to expand the cooperation into a long-term partnership with the private sectors in fields that go beyond nuclear cooperation.
He urged the council members to do their best to tap more opportunities and to create more jobs in the UAE and Korea. He also pledged Korean government's full support to the council.
The ceremony saw a Memorandum of understanding for the establishment of the council which was signed by Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority and Bon Joon Koo, LG Chief Executive Officer. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
