Nahyan bin Mubarak receives Australian Minister
Abu Dhabi, May 31, 2010 (WAM)- Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan received yesterday Victorian Minister for Education, Skills and Workforce Bronwyn Pike and the accompanying delegation currently on a visit to UAE.
He also received a team of professors from various U.S. universities visiting UAE within the framework of the Fulbright-Hayes Programme which aims to identify the educational level in general and to familiarise with education in the Arab countries. The visit by them will widen the horizons of cooperation and enhance openness among cultures and civilisations.
Welcoming the delegations Sheikh Nahyan shed light on the educational march of the UAE and the keenness of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on the educational development in the country. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
