UAE, Kuwait ink MoU on civil aviation cooperation
Dubai, June 3, 2010 (WAM)- The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCCA) and Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) entered into a memorandum of agreement (MoU) for boosting joint cooperation in civil aviation sector. The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the regional civil aviation conference which concluded here yesterday, by Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of the GCCA and Fuawz Al Farah, Chairman of DGCA.
The memo, inked within the framework continued GCC coordination in civil aviation, envisages joint cooperation in diverse areas of exchange of knowledge, training, consultation and expertise.
Under the agreement, both parties will take optimal benefit from available potentials in both countries in fields like inspection, licensing, investigation of air crashes and assessment. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
