UAE Foreign Minister meets Palestinian President in Istanbul

Istanbul - June 8, 2010 (WAM)- UAE Foreign Minister H.H. Abdullah Bin Zayed met here yesterday Chairman of Palestinian National Authority. Sheikh Abdullah assured the Palestinian president of the UAE's firm support for the Palestinian people and its leadership. President Abbas briefed Sheikh Abdullah on the topics he will raise with US officials during his upcoming visit to Washington. The meeting took place on the sideline of the "Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA)" conference that began in Istanbul yesterday. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
