Mohammed bin Zayed receives President of Chechnya

Abu Dhabi, June 21, 2010 (WAM)- General H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received in Abu Dhabi yesterday President Ramzan Kadyrov of Chechnya who is currently visiting the country.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed Kadyrov and discussed with him ways to strengthen bilateral ties between the two friendly countries. They also reviewed topics of mutual interest, as well as latest regional developments.
Kadyrov said he was impressed with the progress achieved by the UAE in all fields and expressed his country's desire to further strengthen cooperation with the UAE. The meeting was attended by Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, and Omer Saif Ghobash, UAE Ambassador to Russia. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
