Karachi becomes flydubai's newest destination

Dubai, June 22, 2010 (WAM)- flydubai, Dubai's first low cost airline, launched its 20th destination yesterday when its inaugural flight to Karachi, the city of lights, landed earlier this morning.
Ali Saif Alawani, UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, who was on board the inaugural flight, said: "The ties between the UAE and Pakistan are already strong with bilateral trade worth more than US$6 billion annually. Increasing the number of affordable, quality, direct air travel links between our countries will only serve to strengthen our relationship.
Karachi, Pakistan's main seaport, is one of the world's largest cities in terms of population and is the financial centre of the country. It is home to Pakistan's largest commercial corporations and is the heart of trade and industry for the country.
FZ333 departs Dubai from Sunday to Thursday at 0815hrs and arrives in Karachi at 1125hrs. The return flight, FZ334, will leave at 1210hrs arriving in Dubai at 1320hrs local time. On Fridays and Saturdays FZ333 will depart Dubai at 1135hrs and arrive in Karachi at 1445hrs. The return flight, FZ334, will leave at 1530hrs and arrive in Dubai at 1640hrs local time. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
