Imagination Abu Dhabi launches online portal to search for Emirati Film Stars

Abu Dhabi, June 23, 2010 (WAM)- Imagenation Abu Dhabi announced the launch of http://www.emiratifilmstar.com, an online portal which aims to discover the region's untapped acting talent.
Starting from today Emiratis and Arab expatriates in the UAE interested in auditioning for Imagenation Abu Dhabi's films are invited to visit the website and apply. Those who meet the requirements have the potential of being invited for a casting call with the film's casting director.
Imagenation Abu Dhabi revealed its Emirati slate which includes: Sea Shadow, Million's Poet, Djinn, Alaska, Monsoon and Alis and Aishas earlier this month. Sea Shadow will be the first project to utilise the website -- with principal photography beginning towards the end of 2010.
EmiratiFilmStar.com will be in both English and Arabic and will act as a central resource for Imagenation Abu Dhabi's casting directors as they scout the area for new and fresh faces as well as established actors to fill these coveted roles.
