RCA delivers medicines to Uzbek Minister of Health

Tashkent - WAM - The RCA delegation delivered medicines to the Uzbek Ministry of Health to help Kyrgyz refugees from Uzbek origins. Dr. Saleh Al Taei, Secretary General of UAE Red Crescent Authority (UAERCA) and head of the delegation to Uzbekistan said that the medicines have been provided urgently on the request of Uzbek Ministry of Health and Red Crescent. The delegation bought large quantities of medicines from local markets, especially antibiotics, wound dressings in addition to milk for the children. The medicines were received by the president of the Red Crescent Society of Uzbekistan, Mannon Rakhimov and other senior officials from ministry of health.
