UAE Minister of Interior inspects 10 new vehicles for crime scene management

The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan has inspected at the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police the two sets of hi tech vehicles for support and operations at the crime scene.
Sheikh Saif underscored that the higher leadership is keen to standardise all equipment to boost security, safety and extend justice, commending the support of the leadership to promote the performance to reach the world class level.
He was flanked during his inspection tour by Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, director general of the Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police, Brig. Ali Khalfan Al Dhahiri, director general of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police, Col. Dr Saif Budhafira Al A'meri, director general of the Security and Ports Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police and a number of officers.
Major Salem Khalifa Al Daraei, director of the crime scene department at Abu Dhabi Police presented a demonstration about the two sets of vehicles, indicating that the support and backing hi tech vehicles are used for direct support of the crime scene teams. They include camps, generators and other advanced equipment. The vehicles can be used as command base in cases of light incidents.
He added that the second set of vehicles are used in major operations, mainly in natural catastrophes and other incidents that require the presence of operations room commander. They are highly equipped vehicles and include mobile operation rooms and equipment that enable them to perform their missions even at remote areas. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
