Sultan bin Khalifa meets Prince of Monaco

Monaco - june 27, 2010 (WAM) - HH Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Member of the Executive Council, Board Chairman of Abu Dhabi International Club for Marine Sports met Prince Albert II of Monaco. They discussed during the meeting held at Yacht Club de Monaco ways to boost cooperation agreement between the two clubs signed last March to exchange expertise and joint interests.
Sheikh Sultan said the bolstering of the relations with prestigious clubs as Monaco, falls in line with the strategy of club, which aims to benefit from the international experiences. He noted that the promotion of Abu Dhabi emirate is one of the objectives of the club, adding that the cooperation with Monaco Club fulfils the purpose.
On his part, Prince Albert presented permanent membership certificate of Yacht Club de Monaco to Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa in a ceremony held at the club and attended by over 800 invitees in appreciation of his visit to the club. Earlier this year the Abu Dhabi International Club for Marine Sports announced twinning agreement with Yacht Club de Monaco. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
