Sheikha Fatima named 'Personality of the Year' in Mauritania

Nouakchott - July 4, 2010 (WAM)- One of Mauritania's leading political parties has named H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation as the 'Personality of the Year' in recognition of her dedicated efforts to uplift and empower women in the UAE, as well as her devotion to the development of Arab women.
In a speech delivered during a special ceremony hosted by the newly established National Development Party (NDP), UAE Ambassador to Nouakchott Abdullah Mohammed Al Takawi said Sheikha Fatima's selection was well-deserved as she truly became a role model for successful women across the Arab world.
