Czech Republic President receives UAE Ambassador's credential papers

Prague - July 4, 2010 (WAM) HH Vaclav Klaus, Czech Republic President has received the credential papers of Mohammed Hamad Omran Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Austria and Hungary as UAE Non Resident Ambassador Extraordinary to the Czech Republic.
Czech President Klaus received Al Shamsi this morning at the Presidential Palace in Czech capital, Prague. Al Shamsi conveyed to the Czech President the greetings of UAE President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stressing the importance of enhancing relations between the two countries in different fields
On his part, the Czech president expressed his desire to enhance the diplomatic relations between the two countries, praising the opening of Emirates Airline route between Prague and Dubai, which will further enhance communication between the two countries. He also stressed his country's keenness to increase the economic, trade and cultural exchanges between the UAE and Czech. Klaus in turn conveyed his greetings to the UAE President. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
