National Media Council, the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Awqaf sign MoU

Abu Dhabi, July 19, 2010 (WAM)- The General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Awqaf signed yesterday Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Media Council (NMC) on forging media strategic partnership in line with the federal government strategy.
Mohammed Mattar Salem Al Ka'abi, director of the general authority signed on behalf of the authority, while NMC Director Ibrahim Al Abed, signed on behalf of NMC.
As per the MoU, the general authority will provide news on it activities to NMC and facilitate work of Emirates News Agency (WAM) staff. Both sides agreed to spread correct religious concepts and counteract wrong ideas and destructive notions. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
