Emirates Airline strikes two deals worth Dh51billion at Farnborough International Airshow

London - July 20, 2010 (WAM)- Emirates Airline signed yesterday here two deals worth US$13.9billion about (Dh51billion) at Farnborough International Airshow. The signing ceremony was graced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
The first deal included an order to buy 30 new aircraft, "Boeing 777 -300 E. R. at US$1.9 billion (Dh4.33 billion), while the second deal included GP 7200 and services from engines Alliance worth US$8.4 billion equivalent to (Dh6.17 billion) to run the 32 Airbus, which Emirates Airline signed contracts to buy during the Berlin Air Show early last June. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
