UAE Ambassador meets Minister for Health in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa

Islamabad - Aug 31, 2010 (WAM)- UAE Ambassador to Pakistan Ali Saif Al-Awani has met Syed Zahir Shah, Minister for Health in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in Peshawar to discuss the health program being run by the UAE's Red Crescent Authority (RCA) in coordination with the United Nations Children's Fund - UNICEF.
The meeting also discussed the arrival of the UAE's second plane loaded with 35 tons of relief material to Peshawar Airport.
RCA's mobile hospital is now operational in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the north-western Pakistani province devastated by monsoon floods and is providing health services to locals in coordination with Al-Ibrahimi hospital, Noshehra Hospital and Abbasin Charity Hospital.
The Minister expressed appreciation of the UAE's efforts to help Pakistani people. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
