MBRCF continues relief operations in Pakistan
Dubai, Sept 1,2010 (WAM)- The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Foundation (MBRCF) continued its relief operations in cooperation with the UAE Armed Forces to alleviate the sufferings of the flood victims in Pakistan.
A second cargo plane sent by MBRCF with 15 tonnes of relief supplies on board arrived at the airport in Multan in the Punjab province.
Director of MBRCF Saleh Zaher Mazroui said that the relief cargo represented an effective coordination between the Foundation and other charities in the UAE as the relief supplies were loaded in cooperation with Dubai Charity Association and Dar Al- Ber Society. The relief supplies included essential food items, drinking water and material for setting up tents. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
