RCA continues food distribution in flood hit areas in Pakistan

Abu Dhabi, Sept 7, 2010 (WAM)- Red Crescent Authority continued to distribute relief supplies among the flood victims in several towns and villages in Pakistan. Large amounts of essential food including flour, sugar, rice and edible oil were distributed in the makeshift camps housing the displaced victims in Khyber Pakhtoon Khawa and other cities. The RCA delegation had made field tours to assess the needs of the flood victims, especially in remote areas where most of the critical infrastructure were swept away in the flooding. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
