Omani Minister visits UAE's Pavilion in Shanghai

Shanghai, Sept 13, 2010 (WAM)- Oman's Minister of Commerce and Industry Maqbool Ali Sultan has visited the UAE Pavilion at the current Expo 2010 Shanghai China. The Omani minister and members of the accompanying delegation, during their tour in the pavilion, expressed admiration at the UAE's impressive national presence in the world's biggest expo.
The visitors were accompanied by deputy commissioner of the pavilion Abdullah Al-Aidarous and viewed a show on the history of the UAE and the huge achievements it has made in terms of development.
Sultan said the pavilion, with its dazzling shows and documentaries, contribute to the cementing of economic, industrial, tourism and trade relations with China.
Occupying an area of 6000 square metres in the heart of the Expo site, the spectacular UAE pavilion, designed by world-famous architectural team, showcases the prosperity, harmony, culture and innovativeness of our young nation to the world. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
