RCA field hospital conducts ten surgeries in Pakistan
Peshawar, Sept 15, 2010 (WAM)- The UAE Red Crescent Authority's field hospital joined hands with the Ibrahim hospital in Peshawar to conduct ten surgeries for patients in Nowshera as part of its humanitarian medical mission in floods-hit regions in Pakistan.
A hospital spokesman said the free operations were performed on patients suffering bone and eye diseases and critical cases which required immediate medical intervention. He added that the medical humanitarian mission is part of a massive drive to ease suffering of floods victims from the abject circumstances they were passing through. The RCA voluntary medical team is touring floods-affected areas to deliver health care to those need it. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
