Two buses join Emirates World Humanitarian field Hospital in Pakistan

Abu Dhabi, Sept 21, 2010 (WAM)- To provide medical care in remote areas two buses have joined the services at the Emirates World Humanitarian Field Hospital for Childcare in Pakistan's flood-hit areas.
The first bus includes a mobile medical centre and the second bus includes a laboratory and a mobile pharmacy.
Both buses are run to various affected villages to reach and provide people with humanitarian, diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive services under the supervision of a highly qualified administrative, medical and technical staff and in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the local authorities in Pakistan.
It should be mentioned that the hospital was launched under the patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of General Women Union and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and in line with the initiative of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's representative in the Western Region and Chairman of the Red Crescent Authority.
