Arab Parliament stresses support for UAE on three occupied Islands

Damascus - Sept 30, 2010 (WAM)- The Arab Parliament in its second regular session for 2010 in Damascus has reiterated its support for UAE on three Islands occupied by Iran. The parliament confirmed its previous stances towards three UAE islands "Greater and Lesser Tunbs and Abu Musa " occupied by Iran . The Arab Parliament also renewed its call for Iran to resolve the dispute over the three occupied islands by peaceful means and in accordance with norms, conventions and rules of international law through serious direct negotiations or recourse to the International Court of Justice in order to build confidence and enhance security and stability in the Arabian Gulf region. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
