Philippines Vice President receives Abdullah bin Zayed

Manila - Oct 21, 2010 (WAM)- Vice President of Philippines Jejomar Binay received here yesterday UAE Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting held at the Vice President's office, they discussed bilateral relations and ways of strengthening cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of economy and investment.
Sheikh Abdullah hailed the relations of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and the Philippines in various fields and asserted the keenness of UAE on strengthening the ties to serve the common interests of the friendly countries.
The Vice President praised UAE's economic development and wished the relations between the two countries to further develop and thrive.
The meeting was attended Khalid Ghanim Al Ghaith, Assistant to Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs, Musa Abdel-Wahed Abdel-Ghaffar Al Khaja, UAE Ambassador to the Philippines and other officials. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
