President of the Philippines receives Sheikh Abdullah
Manila - Oct 21, 2010 (WAM)- President of the Philippines Benigno Aquino received yesterday at the Presidential Palace visiting UAE Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the UAE's sincere desire to further strengthen its relations and cooperation with the Philippines in all areas of mutual interest.
The President of the Philippines welcomed Sheikh Abdullah and assured him of Manila's keenness to further develop aspects of joint cooperation in the fields of economy, tourism, investment in view of the growing UAE economic, tourism and trade weight in the region and rapid development and progress, which earn it a good reputation worldwide.
Writing in the VIP visitor book, Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the bilateral relations, hoping they would see more progress for the best interest of the two friendly peoples. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
