Emir of Qatar hopes for positive GCC summit outcome

Abu Dhabi, Dec 7, 2010 (WAM)- Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani has expressed hopes that the 31st Summit meeting of the Cooperation Council for Gulf Arab states (GCC) would further promote the Council's efforts to realise the aspirations of the peoples of the member states for more progress and prosperity and a higher stature.
In a statement upon arrival in Abu Dhabi to take part in the summit which started yesterday, Sheikh Hamad has greeted President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the leaders of other GCC member states and the people of the UAE and expressed his best wishes of more progress and prosperity for all Arab and Muslim countries. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
