Mohammed bin Rashid meets Bill Clinton

Dubai, Dec 13, 2010 (WAM)- Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in the presence of the crown prince of Dubai HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, received in Dubai yesterday, former US President Bill Clinton, who is on a visit to the UAE at the invitation of the World Forum of Leaders on Diabetes in the Middle East and North Africa due to open tomorrow in Dubai under the patronage of the crown prince.
Sheikh Mohammed and Clinton exchanged cordial talks on a number of issues related to healthcare and global education as well as on the role of governmental and community institutions in supporting health sector and education in cooperation with international organisations.
Clinton hailed UAE's humanitarian and charity efforts through its various humanitarian entities in providing assistance for alleviating the hardships of world's poor communities who suffer from the lack of minimum means of health care and education.
The meeting, held at Marmum Rest house, was attended by HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman of Emirates Group, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and other senior officials. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
