IDEX helps generate economic activities around globe, Head of Pakistani Pavilion

Abu Dhabi, Feb 23, 2011 (WAM) - Major General (rtd) Syed Guftar Shah, CEO of GIDS and Head of Pakistani Pavilion has termed IDEX as one of the largest defence exhibition in terms of attendance of various International Companies, facilities and impressive presentation. He told WAM at IDEX, that the event has helped in generating economic activities around the globe and given a stimulus to world economy. Gen. Guftar appreciated UAE government for hold this exhibition and said, "UAE has done a great job, I really extend my compliments to all those for organising such a grand event". He said that in today's economic depression and recession all over the world, such a forum where all buyers, sellers, technologists are gathered at one place, it has given good opportunity to companies to showcase their products and cooperate with each other in increasing the trade at International level which will ultimately help generate economic activities and will create more job opportunities and overall improve the quality of life. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
