Al Taif and Patria sign MoU to enhance UAE Armed Forces support services

Abu Dhabi, Feb 23, 2011 (WAM) - Al Taif Technical Services, a wholly owned subsidiary by Mubadala Development Company (Mubadala), and a leading provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul, and upgrade services for heavy utility vehicles, ground support equipment and fighting platforms, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at IDEX with Patria, which is a defence, security, and aerospace group. Business unit Patria Land Systems develops markets and manufactures armoured wheeled vehicles, and provides life cycle support.
This strategic partnership was signed by Cyril Arar, Al Taif CEO and, Heikki Allonen, Patria CEO with its primary objective to serve Al Taif's existing customer the UAE Armed Forces General Headquarters, in addition to enhance and help in the growth of the technical support services of both companies. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
