UAE sends two relief planes to Libya

Abu Dhabi Feb 27, 2011 (WAM) - In line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, two Emirati planes carrying relief supplies took off to Libya today. The planes are carrying humanitarian aid materials, including medicines, medical items and foodstuff sent to ease the plight of the brotherly Libyan people. The move came within the approach of the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to help brotherly countries during difficult times. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
