Mohammed bin Rashid meets British Defence Secretary in Dubai

Dubai, April 3, 2011 (WAM) - Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received yesterday at the Zaabeel Palace, British Defence Secretary Liam Fox and the delegation accompanying him.
Deputy Ruler of Dubai H.H Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was present. They held talks on the distinguished relations between UAE and UK in various fields, especially in the area of military cooperation. The discussions also dealt with the developments in the Arab region and the ways to strengthen the foundations of stability, development and peace.
The British minister hailed UAE's stance as well as the humanitarian support by its government and the people to the international peace efforts aimed at establishing stability and peace for all peoples of the world. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
