UAE Forces in Afghanistan donate books to Kabul University

Kabul - April 11, 2011 (WAM) - The UAE Forces Command in Afghanistan have donated to the Kabul University, 700 various books published by the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR).
The titles were given as a gift to the University library in association with the ECSSR, a major research centre in the Middle East. The presentation, both in English and Arabic, are aimed at supporting the university students for strategic research. UAE ambassador in Kabul Yusuf Saif Khamis Al Ali stressed the keenness of the country in supporting Afghanistan and its people with all possible means. The commander of UAE Forces in Afghanistan offered gratitude to the ECSSR for its cooperation with the Command and the support to the Afghan people. Chancellor of the Kabul University Hamidullah Amin thanked the UAE for its humanitarian and developmental role in Afghanistan. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
