Preparations for this season have commenced with the recent addition of direct flights to Hong Kong, via Cathay Pacific starting in June, to the list of destinations served by the airport and the completion of the Terminal 1 refurbishments later this quarter."
London, Bangkok, Doha, Manila, and Jeddah rank as the top routes thus far; accounting for 21 per cent of the total traffic. Notably, flights to Jeddah have increased by an impressive 48 per cent in comparison with the same time last year. Far East, Middle East and Europe continue to be the top regions generating the most traffic from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
