Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Diagnostic Centre set up in Seychelles

Seychelles, Victoria - April 26, 2011 (WAM) - President of Seychelles James Alix Michel and the UAE Health Minister Dr Hanif Hassan, opened here yesterday the US$10 million Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Diagnostic Centre at the Capital Victoria's Hospital. Conveying the regards of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE government and people to the President of Seychelles and friendly people of Seychelles, Dr Hanif stressed the depth of the bilateral relations between the UAE and Seychelles under the two prudent leaderships in both countries.
He added that he was visiting Seychelles to inaugurate the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Diagnostic Centre, "being one of the fruits of cooperation between the two friendly countries", indicating that the centre was set up as per the international standards at land area of 1, 280 square metre, upon the directives by Sheikh Khalifa and follow up from H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
For his part, the President of Seychelles conveyed his regards to the UAE President, the UAE government and people, adding that the inauguration of the centre reflects the depth of relations. He appreciated the donation of Sheikh Khalifa to the people of Seychelles. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
