HH Sheikha Moza Visits Alzheimer Center
Madrid, April 26 (QNA) - HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser and Queen Sofia, wife of the King of Spain, visited this morning the Alzheimer Center of the Queen Sofia Foundation in Madrid.
At the beginning of the visit, Her Highness was briefed on the history of the Centre and its various units as well as methods of treatments provided in addition to the latest findings on fighting Alzheimer disease. HH Sheikha Moza toured the center's sections such as the magnetic resonance imaging center and the samples department and the unit of scientific research.
It should be noted that Alzheimer Center was founded in 2007 with the support of Queen Sofia to address difficulties posed by Alzheimer disease to patients and their families. (QNA)
