Mohammed bin Zayed meets Chairman of U.S Joint Chiefs of Staff
Washington D.C. - April 27, 2011 (WAM) - His Highness Gen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, at his residence in Washington, has met Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen.
Sheikh Mohammed is on an official visit to Washington during which he meets U.S President Barrack Obama and senior U.S officials. He is accompanied by H.H Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and senior officials.
The meeting discussed venues of military cooperation between the two friendly nations, the current regional developments as well as bilateral and international efforts to strengthen stability in the Middle East.
In remarks at the meeting, the Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Forces hailed the UAE-US bilateral relations, in particular in the military sphere, which are in the best interests of the two friendly countries.
Sheikh Mohammed's visit is a further emphasis on the significance of the UAE-US relations and strengthens the common interests of both countries in the international stability and security.
