Western Region Development Council organises voting campaign for Bu Tinah Island

Abu Dhabi, April 28, 2011 (WAM) - The Western Region Development Council (WRDC) has organised a mass voting campaign in support of the Environment Agency-Abu Dhabi's efforts to establish the Bu Tinah Island as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
Bu Tinah Island is part of the largest protected area off the coast of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates and enjoys globally unique coral reefs, natural mangroves and is a home to the highest density of dugongs in the world, it is one of the 28 official finalists for the "New7Wonders of Nature" competition. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
