Mohammed bin Zayed meets David Cameron
London - May 1, 2011 (WAM) - His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, met on Thursday at 10 Downing Street here Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron. The meeting, which was attended by UAE Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, reviewed the distinguished ties between the two friendly nations and ways of further bolstering them within the framework of historic friendship.
Sheikh Mohammed and his host also discussed a host of topics of mutual interest as well as the latest developments in the Middle East. The two sides stressed the importance of rallying regional and international efforts towards delivery of humanitarian assistance to Libyan civilians, protecting them, and halting use of violence and force in light of the unfolding events in the region.
