Rome, May 04 (QNA) - HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al-Thani said ''our intervention in Libya was not only due to the failure of a government to protect its people but rather for its practice of fierce suppression against the same people." "Here the responsibility becomes (shouldered) on the international community, '' he said.
In an article to be published tomorrow by Italian newspaper 'Corriere Della Sera', HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister said the international intervention in Libya was an action aimed to contain a massacre against civilians.
