Presidential pardon order implemented in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijani Interior Ministry’s Penal Service has launched implementing a pardon order signed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Thursday.
The order pardoned 70 people sentenced to imprisonment, 10 people sentenced to limitation of freedom, two people sentenced to the punishment as correctional work, six people sentenced to punishment in form of fine.
Upon the Presidential order, the period of limitation of freedom of two people sentenced to limitation of freedom has reduced by half.
The pardoned include minors and women.
