UAE Joint Relief Team continues relief work in Libya and Tunisia
Tunisia - June 14, 2011 (WAM) - The UAE Joint Relief Team is carrying on relief efforts for the Libyan people and needy Tunisian families upon the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Abdul Rahman Ibrahim bin Abdul Aziz, Commander of the UAE Joint Relief Team in Tunisia said that the team is providing medical equipment and food materials to support hospitals in Tunisia. He also pointed out that UAE has donated 10 fully equipped ambulances to Tunisia to help the government efforts to support people affected due to Libyan crisis and treatment of sick and injured refugees. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
