UAE Ambassador presents credentials to Chilean President
Santiago - June 21, 2011 (WAM) - President of the Republic of Chile Sebastian Pinera has received the credentials of Abdullah Mohammed Al Mu'ina, UAE Ambassador here at the presidential palace in Santiago.
During the meeting, the Chilean President and ambassador of the State discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of boosting them in various fields. Al Mu'ina conveyed to the Chilean President the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
For his part, President Pinera reciprocated his greetings to His Highness the President, Vice President and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed hailing the relations between UAE and the Republic of Chile. Chilean Foreign Minister Alfredo Moreno was also present on the occasion. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
